Sugar is sound, fair and marketable quality, dry, in homogeneous granulated, free-flowing crystals. White sugar of the standard quality shall have the following characteristics:
The number of points determined in accordance with the following scale shall not exceed a total of 22, nor:

maximum15 for the ash content, one point equals 0.0018%

maximum 9 for the colour type, one point plus 0.5 units
