Fortified | Fortified Sifted | U.S. Corn meal

Sound, fair and marketable, free from abnormal smell and live pests, of a colour proper to this product. Shelf life must be minimum six months subject to proper transport and storage conditions.
Special Fortified Maize Meal, fit for human consumption:
- moisture: 13.5% max
- protein: 8% min (N x 6.25) on dry matter
- fibre 1.2% max
- fat: 2-3% max
- granulation: 90% min shall pass through 1.4 mm sieve
Fortification:
- Thiamin: 4.4 mg/kg; 4.4 g/mt
- Riboflavin: 2.6 mg/kg; 2.6 g/mt
- Niacin: 35mg/kg; 35g/mt
- Iron (Ferrous Fumarate): 29 mg/kg; 29 g/mt
Fortification premixes must be obtained from DSM, Fortitech, Hexagon Nutrition, BASF or Nicholas Piramal. A Certificate of Analysis as well as a proof of purchase will be required for payment. |
