5 Reasons to Handle Cooked Food Safely

Number 5: Safe food handling practices are the ones most likely to preserve a food quality and its nutritional benefits

  • It inhibits growth of microorganisms
  • It retains its fresh appearance, pleasant aroma and agreeable texture
  • Long storage time will spoil the nutritional quality of the food (e.g. CSB stored for 6 months under tropical condition has lost 50% of its Vitamin A).
